July 17 - Attention campers and water sport enthusiasts! Renfrew Camping is excited to announce a brand new attraction, the only one in Atlantic Canada! Scotia Sessions Wakeboard Park is now open for business; read all about them online at Wakeboarding Magazine!  On Facebook?  Check their site for the latest news...

Ready to book your session?  Call them at 902 877-5477, and on your way look for their sign at Easy Street, just before the campground driveway.

July 16 - We had a good rain this past Wednesday and it has resulted in absolutely perfect kayaking, canoeing, and tubing conditions on the river.  Beat the heat with a cool trip!

July 5 - The very happy winners of the free seasonal camping package this year are Russell and Caroline Lively; they will enjoy their camping season in 2011 'fee-free'!

July 1st - attention campers, the river is just right this week-end for kayaking and canoeing.

June 16 - the snapping turtles are now out and about, laying their eggs for this season, so keep your eye peeled for this example of one of Nova Scotia native species.  Give them a little space and they'll give you a unique wildlife experience!

Welcome to Renfrew Camping & Golf, a family oriented campground and golf course along the winding Nine Mile River in rural Nova Scotia.

We opened again for 2010 on May 21st, and have  already planned a full season of activities to keep the whole family happy!

May 21 Welcome to you all. Our seasonals will be getting things ready for the camping year. Check out our seasonal rates and compare it to an overnight fee and become one of our seasonal campers. Also check out Seasonal free camping for a year.
May 22 Adult Bingo time to be announced and Kids Bingo (7-9)
May 23 At 10:00am, there will be craft time at the hall.
May 29 Adult Bingo time to be announced and kids Bingo (7-9)
June 05 Adult Bingo time to be announced and kids Bingo (7-9)
June 12 Easter week-end. Kids Easter craft time at the Hall 10 AM to 11 AM. Adult Bingo time to be announced and kids Bingo (7-9)
June 19 Adult Bingo time to be announced and kids Bingo (7-9) Fathers Day Craft at one in the game room.
June 26 School is out, come camping! We'll be making crafts, there will be kids bingo and adult bingo to be announced.
July 3 Canada Day crafts at 10:00.

Free cake and ice cream at 11:00.
Pool Treasure Hunt at 1:00 Scavenger Hunt at 3:00 Adult Bingo time to be announced and a Kids Bingo at (7-9)

July 4 Craft time at 10:00 in the hall. Adult Bingo time to be announced and Kids Bingo 3-4:30 in the game room.
July 10 We'll be having a cake walk 7-9 Adult Bingo time to be announced and Kids Bingo 3-4:30 in the game room.
July 17 This is Christmas week-end and along with Christmas we're going to have some other fun such as the Pool Duck Race, each duck cost $2.00 per race and there will be four races.  Winner takes the money raised from each duck race. At 3:00 there will be a game of pictionary in the game room. At 6 p.m. Santa will arrive at the hall for all the boys and girls. Please bring your gift for your children and try to keep it under $20.00. Adult Bingo time to be announced and kids Bingo (7-9).
July 24 We will be having a surprise prize auction, donations accepted.
Please bring a prize in a brown bag so bidders will not be able to see the prize. When you arrive at the hall you can purchase a bag of Renfrew play cash for five dollars which will give you lots of money to bid with, look forward to seeing you there for fun and laughs at 6 P.M.  Adult Bingo will be announced and kids Bingo 3-4:30 in the game room.
July 31 There will be adult Bingo time to be announced and kids Bingo 3-4:30 in the game room. At 7 P.m. we will be having a ramdom object Theater. Please come on over and join in in the fun and laughter.
August 1 Adult Bingo time to be announced and kids Bingo (7-9)
August 7 Men's Fashion Show 7:30 - 8:30 Please remember this is a family event, so please keep it clean. Adult Bingo time to be announced and kids Bingo 3:00- 4:30 in the game room.
August 14 Halloween week-end. There will be crafts in the hall for kids at 10:00 AM, Adult Bingo time to be announced and kids Bingo 3:00 -4:30 in the game room.
August 21 Adult Bingo time to be announced and kids Bingo (7-9) There'll be a scavenger hunt at 3PM
August 28 This is our half price week-end. We will have adult bingo time to be announced and kids bingo (7-9)
September 4 This is the last long week-end before school. There will be free pancakes and syrup with tea, coffee or milk at 10AM. Candy scramble at 3Pm for children and one for the adults following. On the 5th there will be fireworks at dusk (9-12) On September 6th there will be a sack race at one for the children and one for the adults following. There will also be a balloon roundup at 2pm for the children and a one for the adults following. Adult Bingo time to be announced, and kids bingo also to be announced.

This is the end of our activity calendar, but please don't forget to book your Thanksgiving week-end with us, bring your family and friends and cook your Thanksgiving turkey dinner camping, it's fun and is growing bigger and bigger every year.
